Important Information

What to expect at our Summer sessions?

Our sessions provide children with a safe place to play, activities include arts and crafts, slime making, group games and sports activities.

Children will be given a healthy meal during the session, in line with their dietary requirements.

Sessions are for children aged 4-12 years old and are for children only.

How to book?

We are only accepting online bookings for ALL sessions.

Numbers are limited and will be on a first come first served basis. To book now head over to www.splatstaffs.co.uk/summer-bookings-2024/

I haven’t booked, can my child still attend?

Yes, we advise that you pre-book via our website. If your child attends a session without pre-booking, we may not be able to provide a meal, or may have to turn them away, due to being at full capacity

How much do sessions cost?
For this Summer programme ALL sessions are £2.00 per child per session.
Do parents/carers attend with their child?

Our sessions are for children only

Is there a limit for how many sessions I can book my child on?

There is no limit. You can book your child on to more than one session.

My child is not eligible for free school meals, can they still attend?

Yes, our sessions this Summer are for children regardless of FSM eligibility.

Can my child leave the session on their own?

Children must be collected by an adult.

However, children aged 10 years and over, are allowed to leave the session on their own, with permission from their parent/carer, however they will not be able to take home any younger siblings.

What happens if sessions are cancelled?

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance, a session maybe cancelled. Should this happen, we will update our social media pages and notify you via a text message asap.

I have completed a booking form, but have not heard back?

Once you have completed the booking form, you will receive a confirmation email from us within 48 hours, Monday- Friday.

Completing a booking form, does not guarantee your child a place at our sessions. You will need to receive a confirmation email from us, before attending.

If you have not heard back from us within 48 hours Monday-Friday, then please contact us on membership@splatstaffs.co.uk

Before contacting us, please check your junk folder, as occasionally our emails can go in to your junk folder.

I have booked but would like to cancel

If you wish to cancel, can you please let us know as soon as possible by emailing membership@splatstaffs.co.uk, so we can free up numbers for other children.

If your child fails to attend more than 2 sessions without you letting us know we may refrain you from booking them onto future sessions.

Do you have a cancellation list?

It is very difficult for us to manage a cancellation list, due to volume of sessions we will be delivering over Summer.

If we receive cancellations in a timely manner, we may post these on social media and spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

You are more than welcome to attend a session and see if we have any cancellations on the day. However, we are unable to guarantee entry, if they are no cancellations on the day.

How we use your data?

We ask for personal details, so we are aware of any medical, health and support needs, to help keep children safe at our sessions and to ensure their needs are met safely. Parent/Carer details are taken, in case of an emergency. Other contact details are gathered, to help keep you updated i.e. in case sessions are cancelled, you can choose to opt out from this.

Data is only passed on to any third party organisations regarding funding requirements or if there is a safeguarding issue.

You can read more about how we use your data here.

Are food / drinks provided?

We will be providing a healthy meal and drink at each of our sessions.

My child has a support need and requires a 121 with staff?

We are really sorry but are unable to offer children 121 support, at the moment. We will update our website when we are able to do so again.

If your child is not between the ages of 4-12 years old, WE ARE NOT INSURED!

Our staff have the right to ask for proof of age for children, refuse entry, or ask you to come and collect your child immediately, if we find that children are not within the 4-12 years age range.

Unfortunately, we have had many families giving false information, regarding the age of children.

You are putting our organisation at risk as we are not insured! We will not tolerate this and will take the appropriate action.
